Selamat datang ke (Welcome to) Living Through Twenties.
My name is Terence Kong.
So, after years of hard work and countless assignments, you have graduated from your university and earned yourself a degree. Congratulations! A new chapter of your life begins. How exciting. However, what if you do not have the darndest idea of what you should be doing next to set yourself up for a bright future? Now, you are scared s***less. Trust me, you are not the only one, and most importantly, it is normal to feel that way.
Determining where you want to be is not as complicated as it looks, but it does require you to work your fingers to the bone, persevere when life seems to be turning against you and believe that you can forge your own fate.
And that is the reason why I started this website; to guide, educate and inspire twenty-year-olds worldwide to always strive for an authentic and successful human experience regardless of their circumstances. That is the mission of Living Through Twenties.
At Living Through Twenties, I believe that there are numerous elements that we must be mindful of so that by the time we reach our early thirties, we are not experiencing an actual identity crisis. Hence, numerous topics, ranging from personal development to wellness, will be the main focus areas.
My hope is that the materials here at Living Through Twenties would enable you to make wiser financial decisions, adopt a healthier lifestyle, accomplish great strides in your professional career and move one step closer towards your dream life.
Being in your twenties can be an exhilarating and nerve-racking time of your life. However, life is a continuous learning experience. When you enter your late twenties, you will notice that you have evolved so much since you were 20 years old. That is how it is supposed to be.
Just like you, I have spent a lot of time asking myself, “Where do I go from here?” I struggled to find my passion and my place in life soon after I earned my postgraduate degree from Australia. As I am approaching my late twenties, I realised that I have missed out on many key life moments that would have better define the course of my life and allow me to become more self-reliant.
Consequently, I learned one fundamental life lesson: the decisions you make and the actions you take in your early twenties (perhaps years before that too) can either make or break your future.
Hence, at Living Through Twenties, my intent is to provide future twenty-somethings advice that I wish I had been given at 20 so that they can enjoy an authentic and a more meaningful human experience for the rest of their lives.
